- My name is Maria Wood. I'm an Intuitive Healer & Counsellor, Life/Soul Coach, Nlp Practitioner, Colour, Crystal and Massage Therapist, Certified Reiki Master/Teacher in various energy systems but more than having a certification, I feel my most important qualification is that I have been working on self-healing for the last 10 years.
- Describe your work and what it means to you:
- My thirst for spiritual knowledge is something that both defines me and gives me a sense of purpose. From a young age I have always wanted people to feel good about themselves after being in my company and it is from this point I felt my journey was to find the tools with which to help those people began.
I became a Reiki master/teacher in 2003 after 3 years as an apprentice practicing and understanding on a personal level everything I felt I needed in order to become a Reiki master. Every healing session I undertake is a joy and I feel honoured to have found a technique so nourishing on so many different levels.
Life on this planet can be challenging at times. I believe that in trying to attain the balance of a healthy mind, body and spirit you are honouring yourself and giving yourself the best possible chance of dealing with any challenges that may come your way on life’s journey.
